What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is the science that indicates the appropriate and inappropriate, happy
or sorrowful condition of living, what is auspicious or inauspicious for longevity, as well as the measure of life itself.

Ayurveda is a 5,000-year-old system of natural healing that has its origins in the Vedic culture of India. The traditional science of Ayurvedic medicine is designed to bring the body back into balance so it can heal itself. Ayurveda is a science of life (Ayur = life, Veda = science or knowledge). Ayurvedic Healing is oriented towards the practical treatment of disease but it also explains relevant dietary, life-style and yogic methods to enhance herbal therapy, including the use of oils, aromas, colors, gems and mantras. Ayurvedic healing also provides specialized medical knowledge and and specific remedies including various herbal recommendations.
